Here are some articles from my years as a computer journalist.

In 1996 I wrote for various Future Publishing computer magazines. Mostly demonstrations of software, which we called 'walk throughs' However, in 'From Pant to Pixels' I was asked to take a look at the potential of computer art from the fine artist's perspective.

From 1997 to 1998 I had my own column in a UK National magazine called 'Web Masters'

My brief was to viciously criticise the effectiveness of business web sites in a number a categories - I upset a lot of people and had a great deal of fun in the process. Here are a few of my favourites.

(many of these site were revamped and improved after my articles were published - in fact one went out of business. Therefore, the critique may be out of date now)

Wine World Wide (Web Masters 1997)
Had a lot of pleasure doing the research for this one - although I don't recall doing the writing.

Shopping Sans Frontiers (Web Masters 1998)
This one upset a number of music CD retailers in the UK.

Armchair Investors Surf the Web (Web Masters 1997)
One of these companies have recently been bought up by Etrade.
